Late last year I announced that Deanna M. Jones (link to that announcement) would be joining Total Engagement Consulting with the intent of her taking over my business at the end of 2024. Now as we are getting closer to this transition, I am so impressed with all the great things Deanna has done over the past months and the key activities she has planned. I want to continue to introduce her to my clients and even have some of you engage with her this year.

Some of Deanna’s past accomplishment and activities:

• Last June, Deanna created and delivered a superb educational and interactive workshop for the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s LGBTQ Pride “We Connect” event.

• Deanna has co-presented several workshops with me on supporting transgender and nonbinary people in the workplace.         

• When I was out of the country on vacation, Deanna did a great job and provided a 2-hour LGBTQ “Safe Zone” training to one of my clients

• Deanna and I co-staffed the “Total Engagement Consulting / Deanna Jones Now” table at the 2024 Raleigh Pride Expo

• Deanna emceed the Harmony NC LGBT+ Allied Chamber of Commerce business forum

• She has several LGBTQ+ Pride Month speaking sessions lined up for this June

• She testified in front of the North Carolina Legislature against defunding state DEI initiatives

• And she continues to win storytelling and speaking events with her engaging dynamic speaking style. She would make an awesome key note speaker for any event

• And on the fun side of things, Deanna recently married the love of her live, Imee, and a beautiful ceremony at Duke Chapel.

And what does Deanna have planned for the near future?

• She is slated to become the next President of the Harmony NC LGBT + Allied Chamber of Commerce

• She will be the next monthly chapter speaker on June 27th for TSRHM – the Triangle Society of Human Resource Management
